Velocity of blood, nourishment from
Artery swooning me. I smell velvets to
My embrace, centuries of stones and thorns,
Passages of agony. I suffer under the bed of
Immortality, patron to desires, my own
Recalcitrance, dreading the sun’s hunger
Extinguished in serenities of ashes
